[fr] Typo stuff.

Et cela me paraît faisable.
I think I’ve just been convinced to write a book. I mean, now I know what it’s going to be about. And it feels possible.
It’s official. I want a large footer I can stuff full of widgets, like the one I see over at Ordered List. Anybody added one to K2?
Getting good at short posts, ain’t I?
Heard about FeedBurner so much I thought I’d give it a try. Feed stats sound like a nice thing to have. So, here’s the new address: http://feeds.feedburner.com/ctts. Consider changing your subscription if it’s not too much of a hassle to you. You’ll get my del.icio.us links in there two in daily bundles if you do. 😉
Update: now using the feedburner plugin. Let me know if any breakage reaches you.
I Might Be Switching to Google Reader [en]
Robert loves Google Reader. Tempted me to try. I think I love it too.
I’ve been using Bloglines for quite some time now (still doesn’t make me a good blog reader). I find the interface for Google Reader clearer. It was easy to export my subscriptions as OPML from Bloglines to try Google Reader.
What really wins me over? How easy it is to share the stuff I’ve liked with you. I’ve even added it to my sidebar. See? Maybe Bloglines does it (I’m sure it does) but it wasn’t obvious enough and I never got around to doing it. With Google Reader, I just click on the “share” button at the end of each post I want to add to my share page.
Sampling the Blogosphere [en]
We regularly use Technorati to keep up-to-date with what the blogosphere is saying about coComment. Here are a few things that caught my attention today.
- Dave Lee uses mysyndicaat to aggregate conversations from coComment. These conversations are related to the posts a community of bloggers wrote on The Big Question for October.
- Makeesha asks her friends on Blogger to avoid using pop-up comments so that coComment works well on them (thanks! we didn’t dare ask!)
- A couple of our hebrew-speaking users have discovered the meta-commenting feature.
- Ziki
usesallow users to use coComment for their “latest comments” feature. (Looks like an interesting service but I can’t tell you more because I couldn’t sign up, unfortunately). (Arghl. Don’t do round-up posts when you’re over-tired. — Steph) - Widgetbox sounds very neat. WordPress users already have widgets (there’s a WordPress coComment widget of course), but what about bloggers who use other blog tools, like Blogger? Try out Widgetbox, and try out the Widgetbox coComment plugin. Then blog about it. We’ll be reading.
- Once again, it seems that coComment has kept
proof of questionable comment removaltrace of a comment removed by mistake. (My excuses. Blame my spotty German. — Steph) - The coComment Enhancer plugin is mentioned on the WordPress podcast.

Ziki: Aborted Sign-Up [en]
Quick feedback about/for Ziki. I got an e-mail quite some time back inviting me to try it out. I discarded it at the time — the tone was a bit too perky and it almost made it sound spammish to me.
I tried to sign up just now because they are using coComment for their “latest comments” feature and I wanted to check it out. Unfortunately, sign up failed because of a 502 proxy error 🙁
It’s all the more unfortunate that sign-up process asks me to fill in a really long form with lots of mandatory info. On the first try my password wasn’t long enough, and I was really afraid I was going to have to fill part of the form in a second time, but all my valid info was preserved. But now, if I try and sign up again tomorrow, I know I’ll have that long form to fill in. What a turnoff.
Advice? Make sign-up minimal. Then encourage users to complete their profile.
Some Tips on Commenting [en]
Here at coComment, we quite like these commenting tips given by Reg Adkins over at Lifehack. I personally like the opening paragraph very much:
Posting a comment on someone’s website is like walking into their dining room and pulling a chair up to the table. If it’s your dining room table it can be a bit of a shock when someone shows up.
Read the rest of Reg’s suggestions, and let us know what you think. Do you agree? Disagree? Do you have other tips for being a “good commenter” that you would like to share with us?

Cours blogs en entreprise [fr]
[en] The two-day seminar we're giving on blogs in business is finally happening.
Google Calendar Down in Flock?
Flock/Firefox. Et vous?
I haven’t been able to view my Google calendar in Flock (or Firefox, for that matter) for the last day or two. Anybody got the same problem? Known issue? I just get a blank page.
