Blogger Accreditation for LeWeb'10: You Have One Week Left [en]

[fr] Si vous connaissez de bons blogueurs ou podcasteurs (surtout s'ils utilisent une langue autre que le français ou l'anglais) qui désireraient demander une accréditation pour venir couvrir la conférence LeWeb'10 à Paris en décembre, rendez-les attentif qu'il leur reste une semaine pour faire leur demande.

Hallo, good folks and bloggers and podcasters from all over the world.

This is just a heads-up that you have one week left (until November 5) if you would like to apply for accreditation as a blogger to cover the biggest european tech conference: LeWeb’10 in Paris, December 8-9th.

If you know any good bloggers (especially the kind who blog in languages other than English and French, or who come from little-represented countries), pass the word along to them!

Deadline Today For LeWeb Blogger Accreditation [en]

[fr] Aujourd'hui, dernier jour pour l'accréditation blogueur de la conférence LeWeb'08. Nous avons reçu énormément d'inscriptions, surtout de la part de blogueurs écrivant en français, anglais, espagnol, italien, allemand.

So far, 150 bloggers have requested a blogger accreditation for LeWeb’08 Paris. Wow! Good thing I figured out Google Forms just in time.

The deadline for requesting accreditation is today, end of my day.

Without getting into precise numbers, this is of course way more than the number of passes we have available for bloggers (but let me reassure you, we don’t just have a dozen or so, of course — somewhere in between).

Most bloggers requesting a pass have announced that they would blog about LeWeb’08 in English or French, which is quite natural. We will take that into account when selecting pass-holders. German, Italian, and Spanish are also well-represented. If you blog in another language than these and have a tech/business-oriented blog, do get in touch today.

Each person who filled in the form will receive an answer, whether they are selected as official LeWeb’08 bloggers or not. Selected bloggers will be announced on the 20th (next Monday), so don’t fret if you haven’t heard from me yet.

Géraldine just contacted me to point me to the page of banners LeWeb’08 staff have prepared, so go and help yourself in the meantime!

Very Last Moment to Propose a Contribution for LIFT'08 [en]

[fr] C'est la dernière minute pour faire une proposition de workshop, discours, discussion, ou encore participation à la venture night de la conférence LIFT. (Utilisez les liens dans le corps de l'article.) Eh oui, c'est aujourd'hui le dernier jour!

Il est d'ores et déjà possible de s'inscrire aux workshops (j'y propose d'ailleurs une initiation aux blogs -- inscrivez-vous si vous ne bloguez pas encore, ou parlez-en à vos amis non-blogueurs). J'ai aussi proposé une présentation-éclair de 5 minutes au sujet de Going Solo (ça me rappelle qu'il faut que je blogue à ce sujet en français un peu plus en détail), et je pense animer une discussion autour de toutes ces questions linguistiques qui me préoccupent.

I was hesitating with something about [teenagers and the internet](/tags/youth/) but as I see there is already [a workshop on the topic (Teenagers/Generation Y and Technology)](http://www.liftconference.com/teenagers-generation-y-and-technology), which I want to attend, I think it’s better to come up with a totally different topic.

Any thoughts?
