About the website you’re reading.

Site [en]

I’ve been playing a little bit with the text size (removing pixels!), so please let me know if it is better or worse for you now, or if you see really ugly stuff… screen dumps from Mac browsers and different resolutions (than my 600×800) are most welcome!

The notify list page has been updated, and the list itself has been moved to yahoogroups.

More and more pages are going table-less each day. In the archive, the coding and writing sections, you’ll find pages with and without tables. The india and about sections are completely table-less – but that wasn’t very long to do (and while I’m at it, I’m making sure the pages are up-to-date, which explains my sluggish progress in the rip-out).

I’m making progress. My brain is almost totally fried. But surprisingly, I still have a little bit of hair left in. Enjoy the story!

Site Going Tableless [en]

I just thought I’d let you know that I’m gleefully ripping out the tables from my layout. You’re not going to see anything yet, because I have the wisdom to do it in a secret testing area.

If you think you might be of any help, you’re most welcome. I’m somewhat stuck in a few browser discrepancy issues.

Language [en]

Hi english folks!

I know it’s a bit frustrating for you, but I’ve been spoiling my french readers lately. If you feel like exploring, remember that all the links on your left will take you to English-land. Only the weblog and the writing section contain French (but you’ll also find some English there too if you are lucky…)

Enjoy!

Now that I’ve finally got my CD player up and running at home (it took me over six months!), the “radio song” list has been replaced by a list of CDs. If you hover your mouse over the entries, you’ll get a little information on each one.

  • Anthropic payment woes – resolved13.04.2026
TL;DR: enter card details manually, not using Link, if you need to change your payment method and it’s stuck. Three days ago my Claude Pro subscription was up for renewal but I’d forgotten to top-up the prepaid credit card I use for this. It was (logically) declined and my subscription was suspended.  I was using … Continue reading "Anthropic payment woes – resolved"

End 2024 is when I really started to get going with “AI” (or LLMs – I know saying “AI” is kinda wrong, but there seems to be no good way to escape it right now).
