My Bookmarks [en]

Old bookmarks, new bookmarks. Thanks to Nacara who wrote the script.

Which brings the number of links on the left of this page to a frightening twenty, if you take into account the two external ones. It is way to much. So, dear reader, as I stare at this design (which dates back to the beginning of year 2001) and long for a change, I’ve decided to re-think the site architecture as well.

However, don’t expect immediate changes, as in the meantime, I’m also preparing a website for my judo school (and writing the CMS for it from scratch, and trying to do it properly, with pretty functions and all, so that it might be shared with others), polishing up Swissblogs, sending warm thanks and energy daily to Assistant Editor-in-Chief Sam who is doing the hard work to keep Pompage.net running (merci!), as well as trying to have a life offline. Yes, that was a long sentence.

Any suggestions welcome, of course.

SwissBlogs Directory Open! [en]

SwissBlog.

The SwissBlogs Directory is now officially open, with an interface in French, English or German. (If you can translate the Italian interface, let me know!)

More features and functionalities will be coming in the next weeks, but there’s no reason not to start filling the directory! If you’re in Switzerland, or swiss, please add your weblog — and tell your friends to add theirs, too.

Help spread the word by mentioning the directory on your weblog. 🙂 You can (but don’t have to) use the icon above (please save it on your server!) to indicate that your weblog is in the directory.

Bloggified Brother! [en]

In a few days, my brother is leaving for Argentina. He will be travelling there for six weeks.

I convinced him to transform his e-mail newsletters into a weblog, and here is the result (I take all blame for the design): JonOnline.net. Keep an eye on it during the next weeks — and after, probably. I’m hoping that by the time he comes back he’ll be hooked.

Hate Mail [en]

you are an average, comfort loving white westerner, too young to understand the culture and traditions of any other nation, atleast mentally.
You have done a great work only to spread hatred.Your work is ignorant and arrogant.
My sincere advice-Don’t choose the subjects to study which are out of the reach of your brain and heart.
Stay in your country.Be there and don’t ever come back to India.

[email protected]

Too bad, I’m planning to go back to India as soon as my finances allow it. Should I reconsider?

Dumped Photos PHP Script [en]

Remember the little script I was so happy about some months back? The one I use to show you my phone photographs? I’ve written a vague tutorial if you want to try and use it.

It’s dead simple. E-mail me if you have any trouble putting it in place and I’ll walk you through it, promise.

Your visitors will love you even more when you showing them raw directory listings so they can view your wonderful photographs.

Continue reading "Comment on foire?
