This is the poem that used to live on the home page, long ago. It tries to say something about how I see life. It has nothing to do with the Myth of India
The Stars are out of reach
So far above
In deep dark Space
Too far for me, too far for you
And so we crawl upon the earth
Today, tomorrow
Still we crawl
Until the wise man comes to say
“I climbed and climbed
For years and years
And I have seen
The glow of Truth”
As always in this kind of tale
There are the ones who crawl along
Today, tomorrow
Crawl and crawl
But there are also those who halt
Who lift their heads
Who stand upright
Who see that there is more to see
– and more to be –
Than just the ground below the Stars
