Now that I have [two blogs](http://steph.wordpress.com/), the question that plagues me every now and again is “which blog should I post this to?”

The focus of each of my two blogs is pretty clear to me: this blog is the “serious, intellectual, professional” one, hopefully of interest to people who do not know me personally. The [Cheese Sandwich Blog](http://steph.wordpress.com/), on the other hand, is a place where I can scribble notes without wondering if it’s interesting to the public at large. It is where I [ramble on about my life](http://steph.wordpress.com/tag/life), [show off my photographs](http://steph.wordpress.com/tag/post-with-photo), and give [knee-jerk feedback about applications](http://steph.wordpress.com/tag/geek/) that I use.

However, I’ve been hesitating about where to publish the two following posts:

– a post reflecting on the relative importance of music and lyrics in my appreciation of songs;
– a post about [a recent photograph of mine](http://flickr.com/photos/bunny/74221361/in/set-1292259/) which suddenly became interesting, and some thoughts about the fact that it is not necessarily my best photograph ever, even though it is currently my most interesting photograph.

I started out wanting to write these posts on my other blog, but changed my mind halfway, and now I think they would be more at their place here. What do you think?
