The new Mumbai-Pune Expressway is beautiful. I mean, it looks like a highway - a real one. To prove it, here is a collection of the panels you can find on it:
- Rainy season go slow
- Observe lane discipline [that was quickly lost when the traffic got a bit heavy]
- Stopping on expressway strictly prohibited [you bet!]
- Pedestrians, 2/3 wheelers, bullock carts and tractors forbidden on expressway [actually, now that I think of it, we didn’t see any bullock carts]
- Overspeeding and tyre bursting cause accidents - observe speed limit 80 km/h [no comment]
- Do not stop in tunnel
